Are Rosewood Naturals Meadow Menu Pellets That Bad?

Hi there! I've read on this site a few times that the rosewood pellets aren't that great. I had a look at them myself and I didn't think they looked too bad. Not that I really know much about this sort of thing. There was mention of it containing daisies and yucca which isn't good apparently. After researching I found that some of the better brands such as bunny and versele Laga contain these. Bunny is the daisies I think and versele the yucca. I'm now not sure what to make of the rosewood or these other brands :mal: thank u for any advice in advance
 
After much debate over the cheaper brands and not being able to decide on one I thought I would stretch my budget to the more expensive brands but I still don't feel any better off lol. It's kind of doing my head in although I've still got the bag of pets at home nuggets (ugh!) to finish off yet so I'm not really not in a rush like that. Good job really :yikes:
 
I feed Rosewood grainless, Vesele Laga and JR grainless. They're working pretty well for us! My pigs don't get much at all really either so they're in such small amounts it probably doesn't do much.

The main point for me I think is that they're grain free and not just stuffed with wheat and other rubbish :)
 
I limit the pellets aswell so that there is more hay consumption. Thank u I think I might try those pellets next then. I'm a new Guinea pig owner and probably worrying way to much. My best friend has had guinea pigs for years and she quite likes the sound of the roseland pellets too and is thinking of switching

That sounds perfect :) They're such a worry aren't they? I'm always revisiting how I can make their lives better so it never changes! :)
