Are Sapele wood shavings ok?

My husband works in a joinery and always brings home shavings for the piggies home.
He isnt using the soft wood at the moment only sapele, but I can't find anywhere that says whether it is good or bad for them. Can anyone shed any light? They have never had issues with what we have used before but obviously I will just go and buy some if it isn't any good..thanks
