Are steamers ok?

Hello all,
I have the most horrible cold at the moment...Was wondering if it is okay for me to have the steamer in my room with the piggy
She is just at the end of my bed in her C&C cage.

I don't know the answer to your question, but just wanted to wish you a speedy recovery - your cold sounds nasty

I would imagine that if it is just producing steam, it wouldn't be a problem ( though I would put a towel over the cage to stop droplets getting on the pigs). However if you are putting chemicals or concentrates in the water, that would be another matter as they could be harmful to piggies. Hope your cold gets better soon!
