I noticed someone said on here that their guinea pigs love blackberry leaves ( when I was out walking my dogs before I noticed they're all scratchy so how can that be ok). Are there any leaves that I could pick from trees that are suitable for Guineas?

You can give safely give apple and pear leaves/branches as well as berry leaves like raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, currants fresh or dried...

Please make sure that nothing you collect while out walking has been peed on by dogs - dog pee is poisonous to piggies.

As far as I know, stone fruit are not recommended.

Roses are safe as well, as long as they unsprayed and de-thorned.

When I was younger and lived with my parents I had a loan boar, and my parents had 2 plum trees (I think theyre queen victoria plums, I think thats what they are called) and a cheery tree and I used to pick both of their leaves and give them to my piggy, never did him any harm and he lived for 7yrs. I think as long as they are fruit trees then the leaves should be fine.
