are there any water bottles that don't leak?

I feel that I have been extremely luck with my water bottle. I use the one that came with the Nero3 cage and it is fantastic. It never leaks. I'm sorry, I don't know the brand name or whether you can buy them individually or not.

I find that even the classic bottles are very good. If they are filled with water to the point of over flowing and then seal on the lid, there is a very good vacuum on the bottle and that prevents dripping.

I had those glass ones from pets at home and they didn't leak but the metal nozzle went rusty where the join with the lids is and they fell apart. I was cross as they are quite expensive grrrr

So back to the cheapy ones, as Helen says, fill them to the brim, tighten the lids and turn upside down but put a finger over the nozzle to form a seal.

Some guineas are really messy drinkers, a lot of mine are and they dribble loads of water out of their mouths so I can't win anyway! :))

mine are little tinkers.. doesnt matter what type of bottle i use they either leak or smash.. due to my piggies not the actual bottles.. i have messy drinkers and neo and ash have a habit of knocking their bottles out so they smash on the ground! Lara rabbit has done that to one of hers too!
The glass ones break (even though they are not meant to) and both the glass and plastic ones the metal drinkie part (cant think of correct word.. spout? teat? lol) snaps.. x x

Thankyou! i will fill up more from now on hopefully that will help!

isn't that bottle called Savvic or something? its the blue bottle isn't it?by the way i pressed the wrong button so I thanked you at first!

I'm quite impressed with the Bob Martin ones, I had to buy a couple of new ones from my local supermarket, it was a bit of a rush job, and I always like to have a spare. So far they've been great for the pigigs, no leaks and they have a lovely large spout with no ball bearing bit, and they find them really easy to drink from.

Wouldn't recommend them for bunnies though, my (now deceased) beautiful grey bunny, managed to dismantle one in 2 days, I am still baffled as to how and where the missing piece went, but it was in no way was involved in said bunnies demise, that was just plain old age.

yep the instructions say fill to the top as that way the pressure stops them leaking? I use the plastic ones from p@h and one from my nero 4 also. they are all ok. I had a leaky nero one but took it back to p@h and they swaped it for me for another one which was bigger!
