I keep noticing that rusty is sat outside of the little grey bit where they sleep which we put hay in there for them to burrow and sleep in, and percy inside of it , and i've noticed they keep chattering teeth a bit but doesn't seem anything bad touch wood!, but why is rusty always asleep and laying down outside of it but percy inside, :( there like it now just put some more hay inside it to get rusty to stay there and some on outside of it for if he goes outside he can sleep pn it or eat it , but i dont want to go to bed cos i dont find it fair for poor rusty! :(

They also seem to do a lot of chasing aorund really fastlike there playing and alot of time will start popping alot along with it!, but theyll do the dominance chin raising thing too but leave it at that and just start popping, what could it be? hope there not falling out and are just playing!

How old are they? Most likely at their hormonal teenager years, I'd personally get another house for Ralph to prevent possible bickering, you should have two of everything for boars anyways :)

They are brothers brought up together, with last owners we bought them at 8 weeks, there 7 months now! So yeah your probably right about teenager age, :) I though that too witht the little houses cos we have 2 spare of them already so ill put one in today ! Thanks! :)

Mine do the raised chin thing in the middle of their popcorning and racing about. It seems to happen when they get excited about something.

My boys have lived together for over a year now - Squeaky is 3 and rodger is nearly 2.

They still have the odd day of teeth chattering and chasing each other round but they soon settle again.

When you notice them doing it - distract them with a big pile of hay or spread a bit of veg around the cage so they have to hunt for it. Anything to keep them from arguing really.

The hormonal time was the worst for my boys but its soon over and then you end up with a bond like this:

these two are inseperable now - if one goes to the vets the other has to come too or he wont stop pacing and wheeking!
