Are they just playing?

I got a friend for Maude yesterday and they seem to be getting on really well. I made them a new run and put them out in it this afternoon. Maude kept skipping about and "chasing" her new friend (Maggie) they were both making a lot of noise. I've checked Maggie over and she seems fine. The lady I got Maggie off of (she runs an independant guinea pig rescue) said that Maggie's behaviour was dominant so I don't understand why she was letting Maude chase her.

I'm going to see Vedra tomorrow at the CCT so perhaps she might be able to help.

It's nothing to worry about I think. Pairs of pigs do like to run about after each other and chase - its natural behaviour. As long as there is no aggression I really wouldn't worry. It's great that Maude now has company to play with!
