So, accidentally left a plastic bag by Sprout’s cage earlier. I had a vague thought that he wouldn’t be interested in it. Just went into the kitchen to get something (and give the pigs a treat because they started shouting at me ), and what do I spot?

Part of the bag poking into Sprout’s cage! The ratbag had jumped onto his carrot cottage, gotten hold of the bag and given it a good chewing. He doesn’t seem any worse off for it, but will be keeping a close eye on him from now on. And no, I won’t be putting any bags in range of his cage any time soon!

He will be fine. Mine regularly chomp on plastic bags and I’ve seen no ill effect. Little devils!

Yeah, he promptly washed it down with some bell pepper, so I’m sure he’ll be ok.

Naughty piggy! They do have a talent for doing what you least expect in 3 unsupervised seconds then they sit there with that innocent expression like "What? Can't have been me I'm a big friendly unreactive potato animal!"
Hope he's ok anyway, you'll be finding some interesting non-biodegradable poops I reckon!

I love his name! Although I hate sprouts.

Yep, exactly. He’s fine. Still begging every time I so much as set foot in the kitchen.

Thanks!

Bless him! I can’t even clean out the cages with the bag touching the cage as they will pull it inside! Naughty piggies
