Cookie is in season and doesn't poor Vimto know it.... :( Cookie is mounting Vimto non stop and chasing her, poor Vimto won't see her off and stand up for herself and just lies there squeaking.. Sassy is having none of it. Hoping it will quieten down over the next few days.
Cookie really is taking this dominant pig thing to seriously... Treacle never humped her, whereas Cookie is determined to let all know she is top female rolleyes

lol i wouldn't be too sure of that - i'd never ever seen any of my sows mount' one another till they were bonded with the late Dappy (RIP) - then all hell broke loose - my one sow Summer used to mount Dappy and any other sow that got in her way - in fact she's was in season today and Hannah was her target....
 
I know your pain, everytime Rio is in season (which seems to be very often) she starts humping poor Sookie relentlessly :( and Rio isnt even boss pig, I'd hate to see the chaos she'd cause if she was :))

Rio sounds like she has designs on being the boss.... :)) Chaos would certainly ensue if that was the case lol

Cookie is now asleep and Vimto looks very relieved by it.

I know how you feel as it seems to happen all the time in our house, it is only ever Ruby or Tia who are noticeably in season usually- I have seen Esme being very rumbly a few times recently and it had me wondering about cysts ( as it was very unlike her) but it hasn't happened since. Maybe the next time I take Rosie for her check I will ask the vet to just check Esme over.

Tia is the worst, she terrorises the other girls (mainly Rosie) with relentless chasing and mounting, but if she tries with Ruby she gets put in her place with nose offs.
Aren't girls lots of fun ?

Ooh I wouldnt know about that! hahaha.. I got Leeland a n/huspig to keep her company and I've always said it was like Van Dam trying to get one over Queen Latiffah! AINT NO-ONE OWNING THIS KANDY!. He got knocked down to the point where he would give her first pick at the salad bar before eating her scraps! It was a crying shame to watch such a proud man become such a whimp.

We seem to be getting Star, Twinkle and Cosmos all within a couple of days of each other. last night was funny watching Twinkle trying to mount Astro while he was trying to do the same to Twinkle. It was like watching a puppy chase its own tale. In the end Twinkle just tarted.

Unless you have a Barney, he makes thing a million times worse, he is away witht he fairies and just goes round rumbling at anyone that moves, humping Mabel's ear and licking the carpet. Star in season is the funniest, her whole personality changes, the daybarney arrived she lept on his back from the top of a bed. Last night Fuzzy joined the herd and am sure we have a few in season so is all a bit chaotic.

Hope poor Vimto is ok.
 
When all my girls lived together two used to run in fear when my littlest and lowest ranking girlie was in season. She'd chase and hump till the cows came home, her favourite would be to wait for the others to eat and then mount their faces. She's still the same even with Stan living with her, lol. :))
