OMG Cookie is driving the girls insane.... She won't stop pestering them, we are having her checked for ovarian cysts next week as she is very hormonal at the moment. They are really coping quite well with her annoying them and spraying her. The rumbling and squeaking is driving me crazy lol
Bloody hormonal women...... :))

lmao - Star came into season Friday, Twinkle Sunday and Cosmos today. Astro is very bouncy lol. Whats funny is watching Cosmos and Astro running round in circles trying to mount each other.

Cookie and sarsaparilla do that too, it's like the yin and yang sign....

Just tell me... I've got 20 girls - and if one has a strong season, it triggers any girl near her season, so we have a few days of sheer mayhem!
:bronco:(finally an occasion I can implement this smiley of Falken's!)

Love that smiley! I bet it is chaos in your living room :))

Oh god, sounds chaotic. Is madness here when one of the girls is in season, Star is the funniest as her whole personality changes. You're right to get her checked, Maddie has been more dominant lately and had a huge cyst but none of the other signs.

Pecan and Lucky are the most hormonal - Pecan getting checked for Ovarian Cysts too... Going bald and is such a snappy little thing!
Haven't seen her humping but who knows what happens when I tuck them up for the night!

I know how you feel. We took Shereen to the vets as she was in season for two weeks but she is fine. I think she is asserting her dominance. I hope it is the same for Cookie.

Boys would be quieter, but then there is the erm...... Glue and that is a no no!

However every single boar I have met is so cuddly and loves fuss compared to girlies. I will try boys one day I am sure.

Lolollololololol......Boys quieter? Edward is my noisiest pig and just as bad as any girl in season... nearly all of the time. Boar glue gets everywhere, on Tia, on his nose, belly and legs.
He is super cuddly, but he is getting wise to being picked up. I am anticipating seasons any day soon, day 16 since Tia was last in season ( as it was right around the time we bonded them) I expect it will be madness!

Posts like this make me happy that I have boars but then at the same time they are constantly mounting each other....

It's the head humping that makes me laugh :)) boys eh?!

We need videos when the squasher comes in season!

I call the tight circle that results when lord and lady are desperately to hump each other a "magic roundabout". And the humping file when several girl run after each other with mister after them all a mounting train. When piggy#1 suddenly stops, you end with up with quite an impressive "train crash" with several "carriages" piling up. Sadly no pictures - it happens too fast!

I never have sexy shenanighans with my 3, they're 3 very well behaved piggies. Every now and again Rebel tries his luck, only to get the mother of all rollockings off Angel and Lola so he goes and has something to eat instead! :lol!:

Edward mostly gets told off, although I have a feeling they are close to season as they are being a little nicer to him being a little over-excited and trying to mount their heads daft-boy!

Oh god Buttercup and Baby are impossible when they come into season, they try to mount each other and do circling thing mentioned above and all i can hear in the cage is rumbling for a minutes at a time!

Stripey and Skittles are pretty chilled out all the time, but Stripey is paired with Patch who goes into ultimate boss mode and spends all the time she's in season rumbling at her which Stripey just ignores... :)

I had to do Ginger's grease gland for first time last week and it wasn't as bad as i expected it to be!

Reading this thread makes me very happy I have 2 very docile little boys! Never had too much bother with grease glands and have yet to come across any yucky glue (can they even still produce it having been neutered?) but I do get lots of lovely snuggly cuddles and licky licks!

Yes definitely still produce It when they are neutered as Edward will tell you ;)

All quiet this morning..... Apart from the small foghorn in the green cage :)) The trio looked suitably tired out after a night of Cookie pestering everyone.

Wow, I have never been aware of any of my girl pigs being in season at all! And they were all indoor pigs. So far I have not seen the Teddy Girls displaying any signs of being in season either, but then I have only had them since Dec. 28th. Am I just really really unobservant/clueless?

x

Pitch and Putt never did anything much till they were about 4. But our current girls are always having vocal seasons :)
