Junior Guinea Pig
I am interested to know what experience anyone has had of people with guinea pigs in the armed forces?(the owners obviously-not the pigs!) I am currently serving, and I thought long and hard about the decision to get my pigs, esp due to all the moving about that can be done (my job is pretty stable though-no overseas for me) but we live like any other owners would apart from i needed to get permission to have the pigs in the accomodation. I just wondered if anyone has had any negative experience of this (i.e people giving them up/leaving them because they have moved away) and would anyone be hesitant in letting me foster or adopt a piggy because of my occupation?
