Whilst that photo is adorable I do feel it very cruel to dress prey animals up for fashion with no purpose other than that. Dressing piggies up is common in some areas of the world, wherever they're eaten I cant remember, as part of a ritual of some kind.

This could only happen across the pond. It is cute but not practical & it is an auction from a rescue in Virginia. Obviously it's only for the armour & the piggy is just modelling for the picture. The armour went for about £720 inc. postage so it was a nice lift for the rescue. Hopefully the new owner will put it on a pot piggy & not a real one!

This auction was to raise money for 'The Metropolitan Guinea Pig Rescue', a non-profit shelter in Washington.
It sold for $1,200, and the winning bidder donated an additional $800.

I spotted it last week and pinched the picture for my avatar. :lol!:
