Arnold update

Little Arnold is doing very well this morning. He's out wandering around make-shift cage right now. He's been eating nuggets, drinking and chomping on some hay, he even had a good chew on his pigloo and tried to over-turn it :)) so I have to say that he's looking bright and cheerful.
I gave him his medication...Which was a bit of a challenge but he eventually sussed that the only way he was getting out of there was if he swallowed it! So he eventually took to chewing on the syringe.

Here's a little pic of his war wounds. Nothing too graphicbut it was enough to make me cringe, you can see what Ralph did to him.

Aww, poor baby. I hope it heals quickly, but god news that he's eating well and enjoying himself :)

Thank you everyone. It's been really hard breaking for me, having to keep them apart but I've ordered more correx for the new cage and am trying to get my hands on fleece and towels! As I'll now need double what I already have.

I need to get them back "together" as soon as possible because Ralph isn't dealing with this well at all.
Hopefully being neighbors will be good enough for the both of them because it's all I can do.

I have a question...It may sound odd but...

Ralph will be staying in the 3x3 with the 2x3 loft but Arnold will be moving into a 2x3 because I physically do not have the space to make another 3x3 in the spare bedroom. But is a 2x3 going to be alright because Arnold has lived in the 3x3 for a good 6-7 months now.
Is it wrong that he gets the smaller one, even though he's the one that was attacked?
He will be getting a hay loft, though! I won't be taking that away from him :)

But does it sound alright?
I just feel like he's being punished when it's not his fault.
Am I worrying too much over this?
 
Ouch! Looks sore! Glad Arnold is feeling okay though and still munching away :)

(Can't really help on the house situation, although sounds okay to me!) x
 
Poor little love, so glad to hear he is better today, keep up the good work little man x
