Art of my piggie Eevee

I regretted it pretty fast as she’s a white guinea pig :))

I'm really proud of my first attempt at drawing a guineapig and using watercolours.

I was told years ago that it's difficult to draw white or black animals as it's more a case of getting the light & shadows correctly. Good photographs of black animals also require a knack to the lighting.

That's a beautiful painting, are you going to frame it & display it pride of place somewhere? You really should :nod: :wub: :tu: xx

yeah it’s true! That’s why after I started I regretted doing a white piggie for my first attempt and not my brown or blonde piggies

Iike my work usually but I am very proud of this one.
I am going to make an attempt at drawing Joey and Yugi also and hang all three in my guineapigs room :)

I'm currently drawing Eddie and Elvis and I find is Elvis (who's black) is easier to draw 🤣 I'm using pencil though so it's back and white anyway. With Elvis I only had to think about light and shadow but with Eddie I have to think about his colouring as well as light and shadow... Maybe I'm just wierd 🤣🤣

Anyway... Back to Julesie's amazing artwork. That digital art is SOOOOO GOOD! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Omg this is so good! One of my piggies are also named Eevee and I just got really excited to see someone named theirs the same ahahaha☺️
