A while ago, I wrote an short article about one of my sows, Bess, for The Guinea Pig Magazine and I have just been informed that it will be published in the next edition - which is on sale in the UK from 10th Sept .


I am absolutely delighted my article is going to be published - and can't wait to see her in print !

I enjoyed writing it . The only downside is the amount of time you have to wait between submitting the article and it being published (I was warned about this !).


At the time of writing the article, Bess gad recently been diagnosed with ovarian cysts. She has now had surgery and it has made a world of difference. I'll update everyone after the article is in print.

I'm hoping other forum members will be inspired to write about their Guinea Pigs for the magazine.
 
I will look out for it when I start bagging up the 'rest of the world' issues today for posting out. The ROW have bagging priority as Alison likes to get them to the subscribers asap so that they get them about the same time as those in the UK. I haven't had chance to look thru this issue yet, been a tad busy to say the least.
 
I've not got my magazine yet ! I've seen a pdf version - and am really looking forward to seeing it on paper :)
 
My magazine arrived yesterday. The article about Bess was lovely @PiggyOwner. I did a double double take when I saw the cover Nutty looks like my Peanut also known as Nutty, although I wouldn't tell him that as he's a boar and that Nutty's a sow.
Sadly this is probably my last mag as I have just spent ages trying to renew my subscription. I hate buying on line and didn't realise that's how I got the mag. in the first place. Have forgotten my password, tried to reset it and the site wouldn't accept my new one for various reasons, messed about for ages and have given up. There's no Pets at Home near us so can't even use that option.

@piggieminder please don't give up trying. We had to let a member of staff go and found a few problems on the website as a result. We now use an outside professional website company and the most critical problems have been sorted, IE, subscription ordering. Your other option is to email [email protected] with your problem and Alison can send you an invoice if you prefer.

@GuineaPigMagazine I've done it :yahoo:. Went away from computer, had coffee, a bath and took a deep breath. Still had a few hitches but managed to keep my cool and not give up. The even better news is I've spent my promised Christmas money early and ordered the bumper back issue pack so I can now read all the articles back to issue 1. Not much housework going on here for a while once they arrive!:shh:
