Artie seems to have settled in ok on his holidays he has joined us on a weeks holidya to Teignmouth in Devon - the journey tired him out and he was a bit hot in the carry bag (need to get a better one) He found it too cold downstairs where he started out with his own room opposite mine as no room for the pen in my room, so moved up to the lounge and really likes his travel pen and all the attention he gets of me and Mum. He thought he would share a few photos with you all!

Awww, lovely pics! How funny, we just got back from hols yesterday in Dawlish. We took the piggies with us too and set them up in the awning of our caravan, with lots and lots of hay to keep them warm! Happy hols!

Thanks everyone he's really enjoyed his hols so far, here's to many others.

The pen is a fabric puppy playpen I got off eBay about £23 very good quality and it's so easy to set up and fold down to go in the bag. Would not suit chewer guineas but Arties not one for chewing. I noticed some didn't have water bottle option but this one does and it's secure.

You can get bigger versions, this is 90cm diameter ok for Artie but I'd get bigger for my pair of guineas.

Think the company is called flamingo face?!

He looks a very happy chappie. I bet you're glad you took him away with you. I recently took my trio away with me and it was one of the best hollidays I've had in a long time.
More people should do it. The Guinea Pig magazine is doing an article on taking Piggies on holliday in the next issue. Alisont, you are at the forefront of a whole new way of hollidaying. Great isn't it.
