as promised photos of my new piggies :)

first up new piggies treacle(black and beige) who i got to pair with keith
they get along well treacle is a very quiet pig so fits in well with bosy keith! keith will be a year old on the 7th july and has been on his own since he fell out with his brothers around 4 months of age so nice to see him settled with a friend, treacle is about 2 years old and recently lost his friend before he came to us the women who had him said she couldnt go through losing another piggie so thought it best to rehome him, when she dropped him off to me she said she had a pair of girls pigs, so think they couldnt be bothered with bonding him themselves

and heres snowball(all white) a single girl in pah who was last of the litter so was being adopted on her own to stay on her own she has been paired up with muffin who was pushed out of her trio by her sister pixie(who is staying with her mum)
snowball was said to be about 10 weeks but she seems so tiny still when i first weighed her she was only 336g, maybe shes ok but just seemed so tiny as ours have all grown up

lorriane on the forum made them 4piggiepigs but she has told me recently she has stoped making them

336g is very small for a 10 week piggy. Either they're not that old or they may have been pushed out of food by other piggies at the store? I think they say piggies should be rehomed at 400g, so I'd just suggest keeping an eye on her weight regularly and hopefully with your care and attention she'll grow up nicely

really?
glad i brought her home now, shes gaining weight steadily(we weigh all our animals weekly) and the girl pig muffin who we put her is still not a year old yet so they are both still on unlimited pellets
treacle seemed small as well when we got him he weighed in a 900g and hes gained some weight now so is roughly on the kilo mark
