Lovely and snuggly...
Ginger girls... Tia showing how you work the upright cosey look!
Kalaedoscope piggy!
I will eat my grass from the comfort of my cosey tunnel. Thank you very much!
As well as having lots of fun on the grass, we are making some progress with little Tia. Her mum, Esme is afraid of no-one, especially if they have food. She likes to climb on the bars and expects to be fed through them. Rosie knows to come to me if she wants food, after 6 years she has definitely grasped that one. Ruby, is still a little timid but is coming out of her shell she will happily eat from your hand during cuddles, and as long as you are still she will take food from your hand in the hutch but then scarper.
Tia is too nervous to come up to me yet, so if I put a little food in for a treat it is normally all gone by the time she gets to it. So I have taken to feeding her share by hand. Today they had a bite size piece of melon (from one of the prepacked melon bowls) , a sprig of dill and half a cherry tomato each.
Tia sat on my knee and ate her tomato, getting juice and seeds everywhere, all over her face, my hands and clothes. She then went on to lick my fingers to get the juice off.
Ummmm.... this is yummy
'lick, lick, lick'
No more juice left! It definitely looks and smells like a juicy tomato! BITE!
Yep you've guessed it. MY finger took the brunt of her bite, luckily it wasn't hard. Just more of a this looks edible, best try it first. haha. She then went on to eat her melon and dribble juice down me.
The best thing is, she wouldn't do this a few weeks ago so it is all progress
Yummy melon!
