Asparagus?

Can guinea pigs eat asparagus? I've read up in some places that they can, is this true? I kept the asparagus tops for them - would they be okay also?

Mine wouldn't touch it, but they do seem to be very fussy. Next time I'm going to buy for me instead!

One loved it, one only tolerates it if there's nothing else and two won't touch it!

Mine ate it first go, then wouldn't touch it again - mind you I didn't feed the best bit that's for me :a19:

Tried mine on it a few times but none of my piggies have liked it.

All of ours say no. Its an expensive folly that sits in the cage that i'd wished I'd roasted for myself with some balsamic vinegar.

Thanks everyone! I gave them a bit each last night, so I'm just trying to see whether they've eaten it or left it in some hiding place around the cage!
