Having just spent a lovely few hours discussing piggies at the Birmingham meet I must relate how lazy Astro has been this evening. One of their cosy beds has been placed in the cage near to their pellet bowl. We have just watched Astro curled in the cosy and stretch to the bowl, tip it in his direction and munch from the tipped bowl without leaving the cosy. Unfortunately camera isnt charged.

Ha ha, he would get along well with my Hazelnut another super lazy boy. I use a cosy as a carrier. One day I put him out on the grass and he wouldn't get out of the cosy, just munched the grass he could get at by staying inside the cosy. Sometimes when I put the vegies in the bottom level of their 2 story hutch and he is upstairs, he sticks his head at the bars wanting me to feed him through the bars so he doesn't have to go all the way downstairs.

What's the Birmingham meet? Can I join next time please? Is there on in Coventry?

We have 2-3 informal afternoon meet ups in a pub in the centre of Birmingham per year; you are welcome to join us for a piggy chat!

Astro and Ffowlyn should have a lay-in together, preferably with a bowl and a mound of hay in between their cosies! mallethead

Ha ha, lazy Astro... It's a hard life!

:)) A few of our piggies do this too pffft, lazy or what...
One of my boys, Harley, sits on top of his tunnel next to the hay basket waiting for me to give him a handful whilst his brother has dived in for a forage and a munch. This has stemmed from a year and a half ago when he had bladder surgery and I literally waited on him hand and foot - everything was placed under his nose so he didn't have to move far whilst he was convalescing !
He'll potter to his pellet dish and veggie bowl but hay has to be delivered to him rolleyes
