At what temperatures does a long coated guinea pig most need a furcut?

I always wore hoodies when snipping at Blitzen's fur because he always started biting at my shoulder. Hoodies are much better protection against angry Blitzen teeth than a t-shirt.

At least skinnies don't need regular grooming lol. Blitzen was a sheltie mix, it looked like he was headbanging when he popcorned 😂

Never mind hair and nail trims; Gaia mauls my shoulder just for carrying her/giving her a cuddle.

I have protective clothing too; 'It's 23°C out, why are you wearing a thick dressing gown?'
 
Posh is the perfect customer down at the hairdresser (me). She absolutely loves her beauty treatments, nail trims and brushing. I think in an other life she was a pampered lap pig. She actually came from a hoarder rescue so it’s unlikely she got much attention really but she knows she is a beauty and happy with all the titavation

Blitzen would have said no. He'd have been quite happy if I'd ignored him...mostly because he knew I'd never ignore Comet, so Comet could do the People Thing for him.

(unless you had thyme, because he absolutely adored thyme)

Gaia is in a bit of a bind because Minerva won't do the People Thing either so she has an almost completely useless furry lackey.

Gaia does the People Thing as in screech like a banshee for food, ping bars if necessary and charm folk into giving them stuff. But she hates that she has to do it. ;c
 
Comet loved people, lol. He'd come to me for food, go to his hidey to eat it, where Blitzen would thieves it before Comet even had a chance to chew. Comet would always look very baffled at his food going missing before he'd come back for more.

Every single mealtime. Blitzen knew he was on to a good thing 😂 but grooming him was an absolute pain, especially since it was just me. I don't miss having to get the comb and scissors out.
