Hello all

Newbie here, although I have looked at the website before many times and found it invaluable.

I have two three year old girls - hacker and dodge - and for the most part they get on great. Hacker had to have a course of antibiotics which she took really well and is back to herself except she can't leave dodgers backside alone!

Poor dodge is squeaking and running away from her all the time, feel so sorry for her. We gave hacker some pro-biotic as a friend who has guinea pigs suggested maybe because of the antibiotics her poops weren't enough and she was trying to get some of dodgers but she's still annoying her.

Short of separating them, which I'm loathe to do don't know what else to do, will she just stop eventually?

Thanks
Tracy

p.s. Sorry for long post ☺

It could be a strong season.
2 of my sows can be a real pain to the others when they come into season, usually one straight after the other.
Keep an eye on them and if Hacker doesn't settle then go to the vet in case there is some underlying issue.

One of the health experts will be along at some point and will probably have some really helpful advice

Could you introduce a neutered boar? Might be a rubbish idea dont know. Just an idea incase

How long did you give her the probiotics for? If it was just the one dose, she will need longer on them. What antibiotics was she on?

Thank you so much for the replies x will keep on with the pro-biotics see how she gets on xx
