I am thinking about getting some avipro plus.and critical care.
can you use iavipro anytime that your piggie is not feeling well or has it to be used with antibiotics.
and when do you use critical care.

please help me.
 
and whats the best to get for value, for critical care.
is the packet a big packet and does it last long.
or is it better to get the big tub.

considering my 2 are not ill very often but bobby is getting older now and may need it all the time now

what do you think?

Avipro or Bio-Lapis are for use when the piggy is on anti-biotic,but it can also be used if the piggy has a mild tummy upset.Probiotics balance up the good and bad flora in the gut.,they can,sometimes,perk up the app'etite of a piggy that is off ites food.Neither of these products should be used long term though,a few days only,unless directed otherwise by a piggy experrt vet.Remember they are medications and should be treated as such.

Critical Care should only be used for pigs who are not eating at all,or are just picking at food and losing weight.Again,it should not be used long term.In fact I never use Critical Care by itself.I mix it with ground up dry mix and liquidized veggies.This gives the piggy a more normal diet.I put less and less Critiical Care into the mix every day.

Critical Care comes in small packets,and once open deteriorates very quickly.
 
I have just bought some packets of bio lapis from The furry Pharm

can you tell me how much to give him and how many times a day.

Bio Lapis is also a Probiotic GP. I don't know the dose as I don't use it. Isn't it on the packet? Mary will probably know :) I seem to remember its not on every packet, just one of the ones in the strip. I had some once when I didn't have Avipro in. Give by syringe.
 
To use Bio-Lapis just add one satchet to 50mls water.Give little and often through the day.
