that may sound mad, but all my piggies were wheeking for food and they all recieved a little gem lettuce!

now,all that wheeking, popcorning and eating must of tired them all out as now they're all fast asleep with their eyes tight shut! i haven't witnessed this in ages! ruby just yawned (with her eyes still shut), readjusted and went back to sleep.

sooooo adorable!

Theres something quite nice when they all quiet down after a long day of wheeking - mine did exactley the same last night when they got some strawberries.

aww yes, it is sweet when you know that they are satisfied and will just go to bed. My piggies do that when they've had grass, they look sooo contented afterwards and just go to sleep then, with i'm sure smiles on their faces:))

i can see little smiles on maggie-may, pheobe and sonny's faces. ruby and bethy don't do smiling! LOL! they're still sleeping. i'm so in love with them right now.

Yes, there is something absolutely endearing about a completely plonked-out piggy sleeping off a full belly!

From another place of blessed peace and quiet (for about an hour, before the next round of begging for "grass grass grass")! There is a tea towel sausage with one leg sticking out in the air in the felt bed and what looks a bit like furry fried egg splodged next to it...

I know the feeling. I love it when they scream and beg for their dinner (not to forget Jenny who without fail comes through to the kitchen and walks over my toes while I cut their vegetables and you always have to be careful not to fall over her when you take something out of the fridges). And then they go all quiet and all you hear is munching. And finally they settle down and go for a wee rest to build up strength for their next screaming and begging for food match. And the whole house seems to be holding it's breath and everybody knows that their are now 12 completely happy and satisfied ladies in the house.

And hopefully by that time hubby will have finished my dinner so that I don't have to scream and beg like a guinea pig to get a full tommy. :))

My silence isnt so good. Gretas over at the rescue being paired up with a new friend so i am piggyless for a couple of days. The silence is horrible :{

I know the feeling - the house feels like a ghost town when the guinea pigs have already gone to their "hotel" on the eve of a holiday... so empty, and SILENT, and - yes - not right!

Keeping my fingers crossed for Greta finding a friend!

I love it when tiger puts his head on one side like a person with head on a pillow it is so cute... never seen george do it but he is a private sleeper and likes to hide when asleep. It's funny though as tiger likes to hide when awake but sticks his head out whilst sleeping :))
