when I picked these babies up the man said he gave them pellets & curly kale, but he thought selective piggy food nuggets would be okay. Can they have any vegetable. The big ones have sweet corn, tomatoes, curly kale, lettuce, cucumber, & peppers.
Trouble is if they need a special diet I shall have to take them away from the 2, 11month old piggies
I also give the others Timothy & Meadow hay.

Hi!

Your youngsters don't need a special diet. They have a tiny bit more need of vitamin C, calcium and protein, but that is catered for by giving a bit more pellets until the end of the quick growth phase, which is generally between 4-6 months. I would feed the pellets rather 2-3 times a day in a bowl per piggy in portions that can be eaten in one go to make sure that all piggies get their fair share and that not just the big piggies can hog the majority of it. If you are already feeding a varied general diet with a wide range of nutrients, then no extra measures are needed.
