Okay so now I have Maggs and her boar and sow and Chucky and her boar and 3 sows....

You are all probably going to think I'm a total idiot but i have some questions and i am getting all confused the more i read xx0...

1. I have to take boars out at 3 weeks...but can the girls stay with their mum forever or do they need to be taken out at 6 weeks and reintroduced if i want them to live together?

2. Ideally, i wants maggs and chucky together (with harry in a couple of months) with both their sow babies can I put Maggs and chucky together with their bubs as well? ? How long should I wait if i do this if it can be done?

3. Chucky is a small piggie as it is, and there is one smaller one of hers that doesnt seem to be able to get milk as the others are all twice the size and push her out...can maggs feed this one if worst comes to worst? If so...should i just take that baby away and leave it with maggs...or put it in, wait for it to drink and then put it back with chucky again? (I will only think about doing this if the little one continues to be pushed out)

Any advice will be appreciated! O0

Take the bigger two away to give the little one a chance to get a suckle every few hours is all I can sudgest ;) they are going to wheek loudly but it will give the weeker one a chance at a nipple :)

I tried taking the other 3 away, but then chucks runs round in circles looking for them, everyone starts sqeaking at me and the little one isnt very active (or not active enough to chase her around anyway) :(

She is drinking...just doesnt seem very often and she is by faaaar the smallest :(

I had a runt like that but she grew into the most gorgeous piggy ever we called her weeney and shes still with me now, I'm not to sure about taking any babies away from mum it might distress her, just try to divert them away while mums feeding chucky they soon get big and catch up honestly, it causes too much upset to split the new family even for a minute or two so use your imagination in keeping the other 3 occupied while chuckys drinking, good luck oh and the bigger ones will soon be on normal food in a day or so so wont be so hungry for milk, they will still want it but not as much

Icey and her daughter have always been together. Tiny will be 4 soon :)

Seems fine to be put together now as they are not that far apart in terms of giving birth

Maggs can feed this one too :) When Titch was a baby, he was the runt and often had to put him under Rattie to drink.

Now he's a porker!

so now they both have babies..can I put both of them and bubs in a big house together? :-\

is that a bad idea?

2 of them are eating hay so the little one is getting a good drink :smitten: Thanks for the reassurance :smitten:

:o thats brilliant!

I didnt think i was supposed to do that! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

why not? They have given birth so close together, get on well and are still feeding :) The perfect scenario if it all works :)

The same would be for the babies to go to either mum for a 'foster' drink if they culdn't feed :)

I have no idea....just something I had in my head! ;D

Thanks kel! :smitten:

I have taken some pics of the babies this morning but need andys comp to bluetooth them to, so will post pics at 5 :smitten: O0
