Sorry if you are disappointed but I just had to share these pics of my new babies.....MICE BABIES

Four days old now and about the size of a baked bean.

7 ... I think. Not had a chance to count them all yet. Trying to leave them in peace for a few days.

Got her only last weekend and she gave birth of Friday weekend just gone. Bloody pet shops {:|

Seems to be .... not really interfered too much. I got two mice from the same pet shop and the other one is bursting with babies also. So I reckon I'm going to have lots of mice babies soon.
 
Shame you live in Cornwall as seeing the size of the second pregnant mouse this morning I think I may have about a hundred babies soon...... you could've taken ...what ... say 50 off my hands :(|)
 
I remember when I was little my mum took us to the pet shop and we bought two girl gerbils. We ended up with two litters of them so cute as they are naked and their eyes are shut for a while. My mum took them back to the petshop when they were old enough and left them there after giving them a stirn telling off. They were cute though!
 
I will not be returning them to the pet shop.... couldn't bear the thought that they might end up in the wrong hands. So .... however many I end up with I shall have to accommodate.

Might need an island to live on mind....there could be quite a few !
 
I remember when you got your original mice, a wee while back, so how many big ones do you have now (I don't expect you to do a baby count) and what are the names of the new ones? They are so tiny, aren't they.

I got my original mice back n January after my 'little man' died. I got the 3 show mice Tinkerbell, Twinkle and Tilly. Then I got the 3 Fuzzy Hairless Snowy, Chuffy and still no name for the third. Then I got 3 'house mice'.... thinking they would replace 'little man'... Sneezy and the other two are still nameless. Then I got Silky and Skinny and these are the two that are having/had babies. Skinny is so huge now I cant believe she hasn't had them yet. There must be a gazillion inside her.

So still got 3 without names so if there are any suggestions......
 
wow you have quite a mouse collection! the babies are adorable all pink and wrinkly!

My goodness, I've somehow managed to miss out on several new arrivals; of course I followed Little Man's story, and remember you getting the 3 show mice ... but wow, what a family now. They are fun, aren't they, and all have such different personalities.

so how the little babies doing?
 
babies are doing well.... four black and tan (like mummy) and three silvery grey. They have a light covering of fur now. Still very tiny.

The other mouse has now had her babies and thank goodness I think there are only 8. I had a vision of her giving birth to 20+ so 8 is a good result. Mind you there could be some hiding in the nest somewhere :{
 
Skinny has now had her babies..... 8 ... that means I now have 15 babies rolleyes

They are VERY cute, and look very much like my rat babies I had years ago. So many mice, what are you going to do - will you keep them? I hope that they won't get pregnant one after the other... :))
Do you have new photos? They must have grown a lot by now.
