I put this in GP Welfare too as I wasn't sure where it was supposed to go. If I've got it wrong please move it.

We have a baby boar who will be leaving mum in a few weeks, and we wondered about the safety of putting him in with dad. Trouble is, they will be able to see the sow, the cages will be more or less next to each other. Could this cause a problem? If so, am I better having them all living alone? Will get a friend for the sow, but the boars are my main concern. All suggestions listened to. Many thanks

They should be fine... so long as they are not close to the mum. Would be much better to pop them in a different room if possible. Across the room if not. And if you are really stuck you could put the female above the boys. But this doesnt always work.

x.
