Many of you will be aware that I am a foster carer and fundraiser for the Potteries GPR. On Tuesday night of last week we took in an emergency intake of 8 piggies which is a large number for a small rescue which is already full. We knew that a number of the sows were pregnant. Others are on pregnancy watch. But over Remembrance Weekend we have had a mini baby boom with 5 healthy mini pigs being born into the rescue.
To help us raise funds for their care we are holding a competition here on TGPF (and publicised through the rescue’s FB page) to guess the number of each sex of the babies born this weekend and their combined birthweight. Eg you could say “5 sows total birthweight 400grammes” and so on. Post your answers on this thread.
Competition will end at 8pm Monday 27th November.
The winner will receive a brand new Otter House Guinea pig teatowel as seen in the photograph below.
Entries cost minimum 50p each (or more if you would like to donate more). There is no limit to the number of entries you can make. Please send payment by PayPal to [email protected]. Please send it as family and friends so the rescue doesn’t lose some of the money in charges.
Please mark your payment as Baby Boom Competition so we can clearly identify it and also include your forum name as well as your own name.
Your donations will really help us at this difficult and expensive time.
