She seemed to pick up following the diagnosis of a middle ear infection but today I've noticed that her head is slightly titled again and she's a bit wobbly. She seems bright enough and is eating etc but the fact she's taken a step back worries me.

She's still on 0.2ml baytril everyday. Just wondering if people think inshould carry on with that (there's loads left) or get her back to the vets?

I would get her to your usual vet tomorrow and carry on until then. Emergancy vets are often not specialised and very expensive/

Please weigh her daily and top her up with mushed up pellets and vitamin C if necessary.

I hope that she can pull through.

Oh no :( I agree with Wiebke and hope she can get stronger. Piggies can be fairly hardy so stay positive in yourself and her :)
Poor little baby - sending sweet Gladys gentle hugs from us all x>>

Did the vet suggest any pain killers for her to help her through. It is very painful when you have an ear infection yourself, If she was pain free it is half the battle for her.:(

He didn't actually. I did wonder about that but she perked up aost straight away after a shot of metacam and baytril that I thought she was on the mend. Trying to sort out a vets trip tomorrow but I'm working an 11hour shift so it's tricky!

It's so stressful having a poorly pig, especially when they're new and you don't really know what's normal for them, what's nerves and what's illness. :(

You can give her a tiny bit of children's nurofen from a pharmacy (just don't say it is for a guinea pig) - the adult dose (for about 1 kg) is 0.2 ml twice daily.
