Hi

I am unsure after reading different things online as to whether I should be giving my two piggies unlimited pellets.

They are both 3 1/2 months old and at the moment I give them 2 handfuls of the science selective pellets which contain alphaloha which I have heard is good for young piggies. This is alongside unlimited hay and about a handful of veggies between them usually including bell pepper, lettuces and ocassionally apple / carrot.

I don't want to be under feeding them if babies should be unlimited with the amount of pellets they have.

Thanks

So they are 2.5 months old? Go for unlimited pellets :)

as a by point at what age would people recommend to stop giving unlimited pellets. It's been years since I've had a young'un and Lily is already so huge...

6 months was when I changed the piggies over to adult pellets and I started giving them what was recommended on the packet instead of unlimited.

Thanks, she's almost 6 months now and is already heavier than one of my fully grown pigs. Reckon she's going to be a big pig lol
