Mine are bitey still when they are in their cage but when they are out they are fine they just don't like sitting still haha. Its a territorial thing with the biting its not too hard but like you I'm a total wimp though these days. I never used to be it's silly. My girls also get a bit over excited because they think I'm going to have food in my hand every time I approach the cage they jump to grab the food and sometimes my fingers hehe. I let then come out in their own time then handle them once they are out. I'll upload some pics later of mineAwww so cute! I've always liked rats. Never really considered getting them as pets, because most people I talk to, that have had them, say that they're rather bitey. I'm a total wimp when it comes to pain and I wouldn't want to stress them and myself out!

Good question I think its called a sputnik pod, I searched high and low to find it in these colours. You can get them on ebay but there's very few colour choices mostly just black. Even when I ordered a colour one I got sent black. I found one website that let you completely custom choose the colours but I cant remember the website. I will try and find out and let you know! My girls love it it can hang from the bars or stand on the floor, they love rolling it over on the floor so it rocks them to sleep and they play and chase each other through it all the time
