Hi, my 3 were getting along so well for the past 6 odd months but like before I was sitting with them today outside in their run when I heard a squeal from inside the hidie, checked my black female and there is a gash on her ear, still bleeding..... this happened before but since I got the male they've been getting along better..... read my other posts..... now I'm debating wether to split them up? For a couple of days or permently? Any idea's..... I mean I know the white one is a spit fire but I don't want either of my black one's getting hurt? What does everyone think?

Do you know which piggy caused the injury?

Yeah, everytime it's the white one with the personality of a spit fire..... it's the only way to describe her 😂 jusy finished putting salt water on the black ones ear..... same piggle getting hurt, same offender.

You need to separate otherwise some pig is going to get seriously hurt

Since getting the male though there

their fights haven't been bad...... there hasn't been a mark on her for 6 months and suddenly it seems their starting again.... thought the boy would calm them down.....

I doubt it just because she's been this way since she was 8 months when I got her and has been checked at least 3 times by the vets trying to get to the bottom of her behaviour as well...... they had the same idea.

It may be that something outside has upset her but please keep in mind that cysts are becoming more common as a sow ages.

Please check whether your companion sow is still OK.

She's fine..... the other sow acts more like a dominant boar rather than a sow, it's really weird.....
