Well, I'm back from visiting my lovely brother in America & all the animals seem to have thrived in my absence. I thought you might like to see the piggies enjoying their american timothy hay.
Yes thanks, I did have an amazing time. It was great to see my brother again and I loved everything about Colorado- the place, the people, the weather. I really had a hard time coming home, except for the thought of my babies.
Yes, I put the hay in my suitcase and decided I'd plead ignorance if customs caught me, but they didn't even look. You should have seen me in Walmart and Petsmart buying treats for all the pets. They took up more room in my suitcase than anything else.
Oh gosh what gorgeous piggies! And that hay looks so green. Neither the Oxbow timothy hay imported here or the one Aussie brand grown here ever looks this green. I've given up and just feed them the locally grown oaten hay which they love. I did the same thing as you when I was in New Zealand in March - bought all sorts of stuff for the piggies and the dog. Did you manage to visit the Rockies while you were in Colorado?
This is Kaytee timothy hay and it seems to be going down well. It's quite soft compared to stuff I've had in the past. Yes we went to Estes Park to see the rockies- awe inspiring!
