Both piggies are fine and healthy except Patchy has a tiny spur on one of her back teeth but the vet was not worried but she will keep an eye on it every six months. Miss Patchy is literally going to be the death of me though as she tried again (as she does every time she visits the vet) to do a suicide leap off the end of the table luckily right into the vets lap and was promptly caught before doing much damage to herself, I on the other hand almost had a heart attack and a nervous break down. Why she can't be like Coco and just let anything happen to her lol. Both piggies are now digging into a parsley treat like nothing has happened and mummy is going to have a coffee (that's her treat).

Hehe when Coco was a baby every time I took her to the vets for a nail trim she would bite the nurse, thankfully she has out grown that stage and is too lazy to do anything except sit there and let the vet do anything she needs to do to her without a fuss because there was times I was sure she was going to get banned from the vet clinic lol. She's the easiest pig to do nail clipping with now but it could be because I do them myself now so she doesn't have the car ride and the strangers touching her but Patchy wriggles and tosses herself around like she's possessed or about to be murdered, so so naughty.

Glad they passed their MOT even if Patchy has with reservations! Hopefully Patchy will eat lots of hay and wear the spur down so she can pass next time. Hugs to you all, hope you have recovered from youe shock @Kylie80. X

Dennis doesn't launch himself suicide style of the table to be deftly caught by the vet's lightning reactions instead he takes one look at the vet and does a swift 180, runs up my bod, onto my shoulder and cowers under my hair! Oddly though, he didn't do this with his favourite vet Rachel who has now left.

I actually booked them in early because Coco lost 100gms slowly over the last couple of months and thought it might be her teeth but her teeth are fine and she's put ome weight back on over the last couple of weeks so it was probably because I changed their pellets and they didn't like them so I had to change back and they eat them again now but it's a relief to know they are ok but i'm a little concerned about Patchy but she seems to be eating fine.

Oh dear, such a little madam! :))

There's always one isn't there! @Kylie80 My naughty boy is Jon Snow. He always messes up his carrier when he's going to the vet. He gets under the puppy pads and pees all over himself. @furryfriends (TEAS) was nice enough to take him once for me, and he did the same for her. He was only in the carrier about 20 mins!

Wow perhaps Patchy isn't so bad after all lol. Is he naughty at home? Patchy is normally a sweetheart until she's in season.

@Kylie80 He's quite a good boy at home, never tried to get under the fleece in his cage. He is a very wiggly pig though and likes to explore, so I think being locked in a carrier is a bit boring for him and so he starts protesting!

These two drive me nuts at the moment with burying underneath the pee pads under their hidey's and then peeing all over their fleece cage liner underneath which I try to keep as dry as possible until it's time to clean their cage out but these two monsters have different ideas and must saturate their liner and then sleep in their pee like ferals :hb:
