I was going to trim one of my Guinea pig's nails today when I noticed one of her back legs are going black. She is eating normally & acting normally. Her nails on that foot are still growing. She is 4.5 years old. Do you think this is a cause of concern? Thank you.

Could you please provide a picture? Is it the skin or the fur you are talking about?

Is it the skin going black? is she walking on it ok?

Hi, it's her skin not the fur and yes she seems to be moving around normally. Thank you for replying. I will try and photo it!

Hope this photo is ok. She showed no distress when I touched it. I didn't trim her nails in case it upset her although she seemed fine just then. Thank you.
