Like many people I've been working from home for the last year so Toffee and Biscuit (who I've had since last September and who live in the room I work in) are used to me being around all the time. Next week I will be going into the office for two days, and if it works out this will be a permanent thing. I'm wondering how they will react to me not being there.

I will need to give them their morning veggies a bit earlier than normal (I'm sure they won't object to that!) and of course I'll make sure they have plenty of hay as I won't be there to top it up during the day as I do now. And whereas they normally have their evening veggies about 5pm I won't be able to give them until after 6pm on the days I'm in the office. I'm sure they'll get used to the new regime, but I feel like I'm abandoning them :(

I’m sure they will be absolutely fine. Remember they have each other. I felt bad moving mine outdoors, especially the boys who were so used to us being around. But they’ve absolutely loved living in their hutch.

Piggies are very adaptable creatures. They will very soon get used to the new routine. Hope all goes well for you. It feels like a big step going back into the office again after so long at home.

They will adapt and so long as there’s plenty of hay they’ll be fine.
Hope it goes well for you back at the office.
