Well, going back to the vet tomorrow for Clifford now. Noticed his eye was watery today, and I’ve become pretty paranoid about his health after Farley passed (although that was because of a boater stone). Hopefully all goes well.

Change of plans. We will be taking him Thursday. I completely forgot I had to do something tomorrow.

Best of luck for Clifford at the vets and I hope it's something of nothing

Hope it goes okay, please let us know what they say

Best of luck! A teary eye can be the sign of a not ulcerated eye poke or something stuck under the lid as well as conjunctivitis.

Please have any potential eye injuries seen promptly, even more so when you see a bluish film (ulcer) develop on the eye. They can deteriorate very quickly. the damage is often more extensive than visible by the naked eye; that is why vets use a special dye and ultraviolet light when they check for eye injuries.

His eye wasn’t watery at all today! We will still be taking him to the vet anyways. A little check up could never hurt. He needs his nails clipped anyways, and since he’s getting older I like to give checkups more often.

I woke up feeling very ill this morning. Turns out I have an infection in my throat. I can’t take Clifford to the vet, so I will see if a family member can today or tomorrow

Now I’m not sure if I even need to take him to the vet. I think I just got overly paranoid. His eye looked completely fine the next day. I read online that it usually happens since they don’t blink? I’m supposed to be getting the new pig this weekend, and I could always ask the owner of the rescue to do his nails, and teach us how to do it (since I’m always worried about cutting it to short). Opinions?
