Hi, I give my babies two types of hay. I get it from Timothy hay company.mThey like the soft Timothy but I also get the harsher orchard for variety. We ran out of Timothy so they only had the orchard. They complained a lot while it was in the post. New box of Timothy arrives, opened it, looked rather brown but this is a new year/batch. Smells normal etc. piggie refusing to eat it. Preferring to eat the hard orchard which they dislike or their houses (wicker/bamboo Seagrass). The soft stuff remains untouched. This happened once before and the company let me buy another box at low cost. That was about a year ago. Should there be boxes of hay that the piggies refuse? Other than abit brown it doesn’t smell musty, or mouldy. I do t want to upset the company but I also do t want to throw this box and buy another - hay is expensive! Does anyone else use this brand with success?mi have had a box (with four piggies now two boxes) each month without problem save for this box and one a year ago. Thanks

I’d message them and ask if you can have a refund/replacement. It is of course a natural product but it should be fit for purpose and if your piggies are not eating it then it’s not. Good luck
