my friend used to have a guinea pig but it was in the smallest cage i have ever seen! it was about 30cm by 40cm. It was on its own, and only had food, water and one tunnel! The poor thing died shortly after i met her so there was nothing i could do! I feel so sorry for the poor lonely guinea pig, at least it is in a better place now8...8...8...grrrr

now she has a rabbit (on its own again) but she takes better care of this one

That is so so sad and such a waste of a little piggy's life.

Surely some people cannot be as ignorant as that regarding caring for an animal..........? It's just beyond my comprehension. I feel quite sad hearing this now, but hopefully your friend will take better care of her new rabbit.

I pray and hope that she does.

That is so sad. That is about the size of the little house my piggies have in their run, I can't imagine a piggy being made to live in that space all its life.

My friend has piggies but luckily they are extremely spoilt.

I'm glad your friend is taking good care of her bunny.

I completely agree....I've just got my piggies and read and read and read about them before I got them and then joined this web site! people can be so irresponsible! :{
