Badger having ANOTHER op tomorrow! :(

I'm glad Badger seems well after his op:)

The lad you saw when you collected Rory had his lump removed yesterday too. It was a mammary tumour with mastitus on top of it:( He had to have a week of antibiotic first. He was castrated at the same time, so he isn't quite as active as Badger sounds. He has to stay on the antibiotic for a week as the lump oozed black fluid into the wound:( The vet was a bit worried by that:( I have been keeping him warm and giving him critical care by syringe which he really seems to like. So good vibes for Mojo too please.

Hi glad to hear Badger is doing well after his op.

Babs is due to have a lump removed next Thursday so am really hoping that goes OK. I hope Badger feels more comfortable after having those nasty lumps removed.

Badger had a good night and is eating well this morning. :) He just can't get comfortable - the poor thing!

I slept downstairs last night to make sure he was ok. I took all my bedding down and lay on the sofa...I was just falling asleep when I felt something land on me! I could feel whiskers on my face and when I opened my eyes my rabbit Schmichael was staring at me! He then decided he would play with all his noisy toys! LOL At 4 a.m. i was out in the garden picking dandelion leaves for Badger!

It just so nice to see him pottering about in his cage again! :)

Well done Badger! Guinea kisses to you from my Scarby who had similar problems.

Debbie, Ellie and Luke - you guys must be so relieved! x

Today Badger is finding it really hard to get comfy and is lying literally on the side (of where he had his first op) with his legs completely out. Because he is lying on one side, he has now made his front leg stiff so when he walks on floor he hops with his front leg up! He is eating and drinking absolutely fine.

This is what the poor little lads back looks like... The side you can't see was where his first op was - the hair has nearly grown back on the other side or he would have been a skinny pig!

(This pic was taken without the flash so it didn't disturb him!)

You can probably see now why he can't get comfy at all!

Poor Badger. I'm a bit late with this I've only just seen it. I'm so glad he's recovering Ellie. Big hugs to you both :) :)

Poor darling. No wonder he is so sore. Reminds me of Scarby's operation and scars.

Kisses for the patient, please, on his nose where it isn't sore x

Badger seems a little brighter this afternoon. :) He doesn't seem to be in as much pain - he looked so sorry for himself for a while this morning! Ellie came round and gave him a BIG cuddle and I think that cheered him up lots! :D

Badger has been pulling at his stitches from his last op and has opened his wound up a bit and has got infected. He is on antibiotics and hopefully will be feeling much better soon.

He is eating and drinking fine, however he is just so itchy with his hair growing back that its making him open up his stitches.

Hope he is soon feeling better. I know how the itching feels, I fell over a week agao and where I cut my knees is driving me mad ::)
