Bags of Mixed veg?

Bought a bag of mixed veg just now and noticed it had little bits of oinon. Should i avoid giving this? I know its a stupid question and after having guinea pigs for years now i should no, but its something i have never come across before. thanks x
 
No guinea pigs SHOULD NOT have onion or anything from the onion family. :)

Haha I do the same. I bought a pack of veg that had spring greens in but it also had leek in too and they can't have that! The food list on here is a good one to follow. :)

Don't the onions / leeks taint the other veg in the bag? I would have thought so

Onions or anything oniony (leeks) is very bad for them.
 
I would have thought so to which is why I wouldn't chance it. :)
 
my other half can just have the mixed bag. and the boys can get the good stuff. haha. He moans because i spend more on fresh veg for them every week than i do for him. haha. x
