Cookie&Cream
Junior Guinea Pig
Hi everyone!
On Monday I took Cookie and Cream to the vets for a checkup after a previous visit (both were sneezing) and I was given some new medication for them as Baytril wasn't working.
Anyway my boyfriend pointed out to the vet that there was white under Cookie's ear (it had been cut but had healed over) and the vet said it was ringworm.
So I've been given medication for both of them and they had injections (they have to go back soon for 2 more sets) and I was given a cream for Cookie's ear (the infected area)
They've both been taking the medication well (Cream doesn't even need to be held still at all!) and today I noticed that Cookie has lost some fur behind the infected ear (the infected area has cleared up a lot already) should I be worried about the hair loss?
