Looks like Radish might have to have a visit to the vets soon. He's developed a small bald patch/slight lump like thing above one nostril. Thing is, it doesn't seem to be getting any larger, it's not infected or bothering him in any way and there's no sign of injury or anything else that could have caused it. I was wondering if it was due to fungal issues, but Chutney hasn't developed any similar problems, so I'm a bit stumped. I'm not overly worried, since he's behaving perfectly normally and still eating as well as ever. Still, I think a trip to the vet might be in order anyway.

I agree a vet visit is needed. My first thought was ringworm but it doesn't quite look like it, it may be some type of cyst. I would get it looked at though in case it gets any worse.

I did touch on the possibility of ringworm as well, but like you said, it doesn't look like it, and it doesn't seem to be bothering him at all.

Will try to book a vet visit as soon as I can.

I would also go check it out with the vet, but I do love your cute pictures! Haha

He does like attention. Although I'd been poking at it a little bit, and I think he'd gotten a little fed up by the time the second picture had been taken!

It is possible that it is a fungal nose strip as Dindypig mentions, mine have had this and I have treated with Canesten cream or Povidine but my pigs have not had a lump when they have had it.

Eddie had teddybear nose but his was a long rough strip, not a smooth bump like Radish's. Have treated Eddie's over the last few weeks with clotrimazole ( 1%) and it's finally gone away although as others have said before if it's teddybear nose it should go away on it's own eventually. That's my only experience of it though, not seen a smooth bump like that before so if you're unsure it's always best to get a check up at the vets to be on the safe side.

Thanks for the advice, everyone. Have booked a vets appointment, though the only ones that were avaible that I could easily do are two weeks away, which not too happy about. Still, will keep an eye on it, and if it gets worse, or if he suddenly takes a down turn, then I will be rushing him in.

Now that I have realised that you can magnify the image to full size, it looks like it could be a little cyst or something caused by a little sharp hay poke.

Well, looks like I might be taking Radish in tomorrow. Fairly certain it is a cyst of some kind, since it's gotten bigger. He's still absolutely fine in himself, but I do want to get it checked out and emptied if possible.

Glad you are going to the vets, now it has grown it is sounding more and more like a cyst to me too.
