Bald Patch

Noticed today that one of our boars has a little bald patch under his chin and a bit of the fur around it is hard (like when you get something sticky in your hair and it dries). The skin looks fine and he’s acting his usual self, but just wondering if it’s something to be concerned about. Have tried to get a photo of it for reference! Any advice would be great.

Sounds like someone got boar glue on his chin to me and the hair has come out with grooming. If there is no wound there and the skin looks normal I would just keep an eye on it.

If you notice a change in behaviour, the skin changing, any lumps or scratches, the bald patch increasing in size then I would pop along to the vet at that point
