Hi,

One of my 6 month old pigs has a V-shaped balding patch in the bottom/middle of his back (like the bit they can reach when they turn their heads round and clean their backs with their teeth?).
Anyway, it looks all healthy and stuff, just a bit thin, he has a thick coat all over the rest of his body. Should I be worried?

Thanks x

I would be going to the vet just to rule out any fungal infection. When Lenny had his fungal problem the skin looked fine but he was bald at a couple of places. xx

:'( I'm worried about my piggy. If one has it would the other have it too?

i'd say yes and it is easy to spread between piggies. It is easily treated though. x
