Not that I noticed but he did have a sore there yesterday, so I guess the fur must have fell off when the scab did.

I think tomatoes may be the culprit, sucha shame as he likes them :(
 
Shame. Mine love cherry tomatoes. Can you try them with the insides scraped out so they don't get his fur wet?

Both Flumpet and Delilah had more sores/ scabs this week when they went for their 3rd mite injection. Everything's now been boil washed or thrown out. New hay all round. Am really hoping they don't get any more. I find it quite upsetting.

Is it inflamed? Maybe you are right about the tomatoes. I dont give them to mine often (mainly because i dont like them) but when I do they always end up with a sticky chin..drool Fred must be very patient to let you get such a close up of under his chin.

I was holding grass above his nose :))... he was stretching rolleyes. He's not patient :))!
 
I remove the acidic 'goo' (for want of a better word!) when mine have cherry tomatoes...more to save on the mess they make than anything else! :red rolleyes

Willa had a very similar bald patch, same general location, but the skin on her was flaky. Aloe vera gel applied 2x daily sorted her out, I did have her lined up for an anti-fungal bath even though she was otherwise clear, but the gel did the trick on it's own.
