Hey i have noticed today when stroking Marley, my Aplaca boar, that he has bald patches behind his ears. Can you tell me if this is normal? I have not had chance to look at Jack yet but i wasn't sure if it was normal for long haired piggies.

Yes it is normal Hannah, nothing to worry about. It is very noticeable on some piggies, while others you can barely find a bald patch. It's also normal to find small bald patches on the insides of the ankles of the front legs.

Phew thats good to hear i didnt want to think that he had mites or something. Thank you :)

They are more noticeable on some piggies than on others. My himilayan piggy has particularly noticeable bald spots!

I'm glad i came on here before i looked at Jack because he hasn't got any so i may have panicked a bit lol. Thank you everybody for your help :)
