Hafthor has developed 2 bald patches, one as seen in the photos and another in the same spot on the other side, but slightly smaller. His skin doesn't look irritated or sore and he hasn't been scratching or biting at it. I applied some spot on to him and his cagemate yesterday in case it is mites, but wouldn't he be scratching if it was? I don't think it looks like ringworm either. Hoping someone with experience can help. I will be taking him to the vet in a few days if the spot on doesn't result in any improvement.

I’m not highly experienced with Guineapigs but I would suggest washing them with small pet shampoo as baldness could be due to mange or parasites living in their coat, both of which can easily being treated by using special shampoo. I do still recommend you visiting the vets in case it is something more severe 😉

I would recommend getting a vet visit could be start if fungal or mites.
