Bald spot on baby?

I have a 2 weeks old baby sow who has a bald spot in her nose about 1cm up from the tip and also what looks like a scab but isn't on her nose. The scab looking thing doesn't come off and she has had it since birth so I think she may just have a funny colouring on the tip of her nose, I'll try and get pics later.

Any idea if a bald spot is anything to worry about. The skin is completely clear and pink at the base of it. :{
 
No idea, I'm afraid, but I can bump up your thread in the hope that somebody more knowledgeable sees it and can help!

Hope you figure it all out and it turns out to be nothing to worry about :)
 
Has the bald patch always been there or developed over the last few days?
 
Have you got any pics, Suzanne?

I think some babies can be born with fungal infections, thinking of the huge lot Sophie and Teresa took on...maybe something to consider.
